Charles Henry Dow (* 6 de noviembre de 1851 en Sterling, Connecticut, EE.UU.; † 4 de diciembre de 1902 en Brooklyn, Nueva York) fue periodista y cofundador de Dow, Jones & Company. Dow, Jones & Company reveló el Wall Street Journal. Charles Dow desarrollado varios índices bursátiles y escribió numerosas publicaciones. Samuel A. Nelson compilo los más importantes artículos de prensa y notificó que la teoría de Dow.
